What Red Truck Does

First of all, Red Truck is NOT a landscape company. I mow, trim, edge, and do leaves. But I don't trim bushes, add mulch, plant trees, etc. Since mowing is my only area of focus, I can spend my time doing a great job on your lawn, and not divide my time with landscaping tasks.

I Finish the Job

After I mow your lawn, I trim all that needs trimming, including edging around all sidewalks, driveways, etc. I do this most weeks as needed. Then, I blow the grass off all hard surfaces.

My small, walk-behind mowers don't scalp your lawns in uneven spots or leave worn areas caused from repetitive use of heavy mowers. I make a point of changing directions each time for your lawn's health, and bag the grass if needed in the spring and mulch in the summer and fall. I never leave grass scattered on your lawn.

How often?

For the bulk of the mowing season, I'll mow your lawn once each week. Churches are usually mowed on Friday or Saturday, while businesses are usually mowed on Sunday or Monday. Weekend homes are normally mowed on Wednesdays or Thursdays. If you have a particular day you want it mowed, or if you have a special occasion, just let me know, and I can probably honor that.

During the spring when the grass is growing like crazy, I will mow it as often as every 5 days. That's what is required to keep your lawn looking its best. Once the rain slows, usually in early June, I will go back to once a week.

As the grass slows its growth in the fall, we will of course mow it less frequently. We try to do one last mowing in late November, or even early December, once it has stopped growing and all the leaves are down. At that mowing, it's usually mowed a bit shorter.
